2. Hosting and delivery through Cloudflare
This website is provided through Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. Cloudflare operates a globally distributed network through which the content of this website is delivered and protected against abusive access.
When you access the website, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, referrer information, browser type, operating system and HTTP status code.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically error-free provision of the website. Where Cloudflare processes data on our behalf, this is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement.
3. Contact form
When you use the contact form, the information you enter is transmitted to a Cloudflare Pages Function. The data processed consists of your full name, company or organisation, email address, selected product variant, message and confirmation that you have acknowledged this privacy notice.
The information is validated on the server and then forwarded through the Cloudflare Email Service to the predefined contact address smartglassguard@prtheus.de. The information is not displayed publicly or disclosed for advertising purposes.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. General enquiries are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the handling and response of incoming enquiries.
The information is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to process the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations prevent its deletion.
4. Protection of the contact form using Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the contact form against automated submissions and misuse. Turnstile processes technical signals to distinguish human users from automated access. These signals may include, in particular, the IP address, user agent, technical characteristics of the TLS connection and information about the site key and domain being accessed.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the protection of the form and the systems behind it against spam, misuse and automated attacks.
Cloudflare processes some of the data required to provide Turnstile as a data processor. According to Cloudflare, certain signals are also used under its own responsibility to improve bot detection. Further information is available in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.
5. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Cloudflare may receive data processed in connection with hosting, form processing, email delivery and Turnstile. Because Cloudflare operates a globally distributed network and is based in the United States, processing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area cannot be ruled out.
According to Cloudflare, international data transfers are based in particular on applicable adequacy decisions, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Further details are provided in Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum.
6. Cookies, analytics and marketing
This website does not use its own analytics or marketing services and does not set marketing cookies. Cloudflare and Turnstile may use technically necessary signals or storage mechanisms where required for security, delivery and protection against misuse.
7. Retention period
Personal data is generally stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply. We have only limited influence over the specific retention period for technical log and security data held by Cloudflare. It depends on the contractual and technical settings of the Cloudflare service used.
8. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the following rights in particular:
- Right of access under Article 15 GDPR
- Right to rectification under Article 16 GDPR
- Right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR
- Right to restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR
- Right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR
- Right to object under Article 21 GDPR
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority concerning the processing of your personal data.

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
